Campsites with good sized pitches available on the Côte d’Azur are increasingly hard to find, so we are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to buy a mobile home on Camping Les Cigales in Le Muy.
This is a well established campsite recently taken over by new owners and management, who plan to develop a number of new plots for private owners. The site is situated in the Var countryside around 25 minutes drive from the coast at Ste Maxime and just 55 minutes drive from Nice airport. For 2010 a number of plots measuring 200m² will be available for privately owned mobile homes. Plots this large are rare in this region and are bound to be sought after.
Much of the site is pleasantly shaded and the new plots will also benefit from natural shade from the hot Riviera sunshine. There is a good range of facilities including a pleasant pool area, bar and restaurant and a small fishing lake. More energetic pursuits are well catered for as well with mountain bike and walking excursions planned weekly throughout high season. Situated as it is the site also gives you easy access to the pleasures of the inland Var region. Away from the hustle and bustle of the coast you can explore local vineyards and typically provençal towns and villages such as Aups and Salernes.

Just a few kilometres separate your new home from the delightful Côte d'Azur, with its coastline punctuated with pretty Provencal villages, centuries-old vineyards and limestone cliffs that plunge into the clear waters of the Mediterranean.
For a closer look at the Med, take the Aquavision d'Agay - an underwater viewing trip on a glass-bottomed boat. Visit the Roman town of Fréjus, and learn of the area's history at its excellent Musée Archeologique, with its rich collection of Roman remains.
Head inland, and you're in lavender country. Take the road from Castellane as it wanders through woods and fields of the heady purple shrub, wind your windows down and inhale the soothing aromas.
Aromatherapy doesn't get better than this! For a great panorama of this sublime coastline, climb to the summit of the Roquebrune Mountain and views of the Riviera open out below you.
With flights to Nice from many regional airports in the UK, fly drive is a popular choice. However, the route from Calais is direct for those preferring to drive and stop-over.
